I found the DigiCam that I want!

The recent offering of Panasonic i.e. the Lumix DMC-FX100 (highest-end point-and-shoot digital camera) comes packed with 12.2 megapixels. With high-speed and oddly wide 28mm f/2.8 lens with 3.6x optical zoom, the camera allows to capture eight frames per second.

The camera has got the personality as it offers 2.5 inch viewscreen but no optical viewfinder. With its optical image stabilization, the camera allows you to shoot HD photos of resolution 1920×1080, the same a 1080p TV set can do.

One can even shoot a HD video on it (could be 720p video) but the drawback is that it’s only at 15 frames per second. With no disclosure about the price, the FX100 will be available in July.

12 megapixel of “raw power”! AWESOME!!

But the ability to take HD photo? I just don’t get it. This feature is only meaningful when view on full HD TV, how often does one view pics on TV? Isn’t it a gimmick?

12 MP? Damn!

That’s ridiculous

it looks kinda bulky though. but wow 12mp. mines only 5 =(

bulky? No way!

I got myself a 9MP camera.

That Lumix sure does look sweet though. You say it has image stabilzation? Dang… ;)

LOL! That video is brilliant. We want more! ;)

i just bought a new cam but its only 7…

Solid brand for cams. I’d go for it!
