Bento Box Review

There are some people who will completely disagree with me. It is one of those shows that you probably love or hate. But I just can’t get enough of it. I’ve heard viewers say that the characters can be one-trick ponies at times. They always do the same jokes, but I don’t find it to be that way. I think the writing is genius and obviously you have to pay tribute to the UK version who originally came up with the concept.

The premiere episode is actually the same script used in the UK version, but as the seasons go by, they have created their own story lines that keep many cult viewers coming back for more.

The show is basically about the idiosyncrasies of the daily office life. There is a wide range of characters who all rise to the occasion at their given moment. You may watch along with the show and find that something is quite humorous, but you aren’t laughing out loud as much. That is because there is no laugh track, often just pauses of silence that allow you to take in the moment. Watch these clips that I provided and tell me you still don’t find it funny, because there is a lot more where they came from.  Come on, it will take you less than 10 minutes, when have I ever done you wrong?
